Smokers’ Helpline

 Smokers’ Helpline

Quitting is a process, not an event, and it is a different experience for everyone.  Quit Coaches from the Canadian Cancer Society Smokers’ Helpline encourage Ontarians to set themselves up for success by making a quit plan and getting support throughout the quitting process.

A Quit Coach can offer your viewers, listeners and readers expert advice on quitting smoking. He or she can speak about:

·         Creating a personalized quit plan and choosing the quit method for you
·         Support services from the Canadian Cancer Society Smokers’ Helpline, including phone counselling, an online “Quit Meter,” and  text message support
  • The Driven to Quit Challenge, launching in January 2011 to provide extra motivation for Ontarians to make a quit attempt for their chance to win a new hybrid and other incredible prizes!
