When choosing the plant material that will thrive on your property, consideration must be given to light conditions that may vary throughout the site.
For heavy shade, Astilbes, Coral Bells, Ferns and Hostas will flourish while Lilacs, Weigela, Russian Sage and Purple Coneflower prefer sunny areas. Perennials are very hardy and will come back every year but they have a limited flowering time. When a perennial is not flowering, you can enjoy them for their
foliage, form and texture.
