Valentine Monster Cupcakes

Perfect for a child's Valentine party, these novelty cupcakes are frosted and decorated all over as little Valentine "monsters."

Ingredients

• 1 package Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® devil's food cake mix
• Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
• Betty Crocker® Easy Flow pink, red and white decorating icing
• Betty Crocker® Decors Valentine shapes

• Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 24 regular size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Make cake batter as directed on package, using water, oil and eggs. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool completely.
  2. Remove paper baking cups from cupcakes; place cupcakes upside down on squares of waxed paper. Using decorating tips on can of decorating icing, decorate entire cupcake with icing.
  3. Use Valentine shapes for eyes, mouth and nose. Using waxed paper to lift, place cupcakes on serving plate.
