NORWICH, THE HOLY GRAIL OF REAL ALE

Norwich is fast becoming one of the greatest real ale cities in the country.

Not only is it home to a thriving pub scene but it plays host to some significant cultural beer celebrations from City of Ale in the spring, to the Norwich Beer Festival in October.

Norwich is also at the beating heart of a county with serious brewing credentials. There are now over 40 brewers operating in Norfolk, from the passionate micros like Poppyland in Cromer to the reliably consistent mid-sized regional brewers like Woodforde’s (named The Good Pub Guide’s Brewery of the Year 2015).
