Toronto, ON – Football legend Michael Strahan supported Canadian acrobat Dominic Lacasse on September 27th, 2011 in his attempt to become a Guinness World Records™ holder for the second time. Dominic completed 12 chin-ups in the “Human Flag” position, surpassing the minimum requirement of five to set a world record*.
This ultimate grip challenge kicked off the official launch of Vaseline MEN™ in Canada. Michael Strahan was on hand to show his support for Lacasse and introduce the new line of fast absorbing, non-greasy body and face lotions specially formulated for men to help keep their skin hydrated from head to toe. Lacasse helped demonstrate the benefits of the new products by applying some to his hands just prior to his impressive acrobatic feats.
Michael Strahan also launched his new online video game in Canada that challenges Canadians to get (and keep) a grip. While an impeccable, non-greasy grip is essential for acrobat Dominic Lacasse, this video game helps reinforce the notion that it was also critical throughout Strahan’s 15-year football career.
